itmSoil Australia news update
2012 was a record year for business in both Australia and Asia. In Australia this was primarily due to itmsoil securing the Perth City Link Project. This is one of the largest instrumentation projects ever in Australia, scheduled for completion in October 2013.
itmsoil Australia recently secured the Gerringong Upgrade project in New South Wales which is expected to be completed in the first half of 2015. This upgrade will provide 7.5 kilometres of upgraded highway and includes two new interchanges with access to Gerringong and Gerroa. Along with conventional instrumentation, itmsoil are also utilising Fibre Optic technology to monitor the performance of the geotextile.
On the 18th May, a team of three itmsoil employees from the Australia office took on a challenge of a different kind! Organised by Dan Harrison, Instrumentation Technician, the brave team completed the ‘Warrior Dash’. Known as the world’s most intense obstacle race, the team conquered gruelling obstacles, leapt through fire and crawled through mud to successfully complete the punishing 5 kilometre course.
